WHO WE ARE

RNA 16 organization was established on 25th of April 2015. RNA16 started with the triage management of mass casualties' victims and rescued many injured buried in the rubble and debris on devastated Earthquake. RNA16 is located at Bhaktapur and works in all emergency situations in Nepal. RNA16 have been continuously conducting rescue operations, disaster related trainings and awareness programs with Combined Initiative. RNA 16 organization has been playing an active role in Search & Rescue and managing dead bodies, collapse structures during disasters with selfless spirit.

In Sri Ramayana, Sri Hanuman rescues Lakshman by climbing Dronagiri Mountain for Sanjivani herb. Therefore, RNA 16 organization is dedicated to Sri Mahabir Hanuman as a symbol of rescuer; keeping Sri Mahabir Hanumanas a witness for the rescue of all living beings. .

1. The main objective of our organization is to present ourselves as an Emergency Responder at the Real Time Scenarios of active disasters.
2.To impart professional knowledge by providing disaster related training to the local forces so that any disaster-affected area is taken care by local stakeholders immediately and effectively with their knowledge, resources, means considering their own safety
3.To enable the provision of knowledge and skills related to 'basic disaster response' and help the community to coordinate with the local administration, joint security forces and stakeholders to save lives by providing public awareness and training.
4.To research and update about the possible disasters that may occur in the district and re-aware all the concerned agencies in the district; also set the environment to coordinate with each other during the disasters, minimize the risk and save lives
